Styles and Intruments covered
I teach electric/acoustic/classical/Bass/ Guitar as well as mandolin/ukuele. I cover all styles, from rock to jazz, from pop to metal, so whatever your musical taste you will love the music we learn! My lessons are completely specialised to your individal needs with the songs we cover being chosen by you!
Guitar Techniques and Exercises

I believe that developing a good technique is vital to becoming a fluent player. From strumming and picking the guitar for the first time to advanced sweep picking and shredding I'll make sure your on the right track.
SCHOOL AND GROUP CLASSES
As well as 1on1 tuition I offer guitar and ukuele lessons for schools and home taught children incorporating
games and ensemble pieces learning together as a group. I currently teach in 5 Nottinghamshire schools teaching students from yr3 to yr13's.
GUITAR GRADES
Although not for all students taking Guitar Grades are a great way to learn. Whether its RGT, Rockschools or Trinity Grades having goals to aim for encourages structured practice which is espiecially good for younger students and can produce great results. Many new specialist grades are now available concentrating on Electric,Acoustic,Classical,Jazz and Rock guitar. An added bonus is that Grades 6 onward will earn you UCAS points helping towards university entrance.
MUSIC THEORY
For my students studying a music course music theory is a must. Those learning just for fun though can still really benefit from it being incorporated it into lessons. I teach as much or as little theory as the student wants but undertanding music theory is knowing the language of music. A Pass at Music theory grade 6 onwards will also earn you UCAS points helping towards university entrance.
